The Kassai method of horseback archery

Short description:

Leo the Wise, Purple-born Constantine and western chroniclers unanimously agreed on that Hungarians were second to none in their war spirit, discipline and horseback archery skills. The aim of the Kassai Horsearchery School is to revive this lost martial discipline. During the training, the horseback archer has to reach the skill level that our ancestors had once possessed. The rider has to continuously fire arrows into a target that follows him, and which is aligned 9 meters from the plane of the 99-meter-long pitch. During the gallop, the horseback archer fires shots forward, sideways and backwards, thus attaining the basics of horseback archery.
